MOUNTAIN GROUNDS OF PARTIZANSKAYA

The commonplace of all hunters, the mountain hunting grounds provide the main sources of food for the pack. Big, seasonal hunts also occur here, and, according to my elders, occasionally the wolves of the pack killed more than they should here ('surplus killing'). (You, as a member of the pack, are entrusted with the responsibility not to follow the same path.) Although encounters with tigers are rare here, and the nearest one lives in the nearby Oaken forest, hunters are advised to exercise caution and be mindful, particularly of bears.
