ABOUT FAMILIAR ROLES/ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE

All roles, with the exception of Seeker, will be awarded a GREEN, INTERMEDIATE, or VETERAN level, with respect to both experience and time; you will level up with the use of a progress bar (see: https://wolvesofsikhotealin.forumotion.com/t32-general-roleplay-guide-talk-about-progressison-bars#116). These levels may open up certain areas or threads of the roleplay, depending upon whether or not your character is the obedient type and wishes to follow these recommendations, of course. Naturally, those in higher levels (Intermediate, Veteran) are encouraged to teach or "mentor" new members to their roles in the roleplay.

GREEN sentries and hunters MUST be accompanied by an INTERMEDIATE or VETERAN level sentry or hunter at all times when performing sentry or hunting duty! Intermediates and veterans, it is up to you whether or not you'd like to "enforce" the recommendations for roleplaying/roleplaying areas.

SEEKER - A SEEKER helps to keep other Familiars in line. They are the most seasoned Familiar, and likely have seen many a tiger around the length of the territory. Courageous and wise, seekers serve as good role models for the rest of the pack, and are never shy to part their wisdom unto those eager, or willing, to learn.
THIS RANK CANNOT BE CHOSEN; IT MUST BE EARNED.

SENTRY - SENTRIES have keen senses; they explore the territory, and are generally trained to detect danger or track potential threats. It is their duty to watch over and inform the rest of the pack of tigers and other menaces. If they encounter a threat, it is also their duty to engage said threat; these wolves are not pushovers, and are strong in the way of the fight.
In regards to specifically performing sentry duty -
VETERAN sentries are recommended to roleplay in: SOPKA SESTRA (general area), NAKHODKA (general area)
INTERMEDIATE sentries are recommended to roleplay in: VODOPADNAYA & KIYEVKA RIVERS (general area)
GREEN sentries are recommended to roleplay in: PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY

HUNTER - HUNTERS are equally keen as sentries, but their strengths hold more weight on the tact side in hunts. Swift, competitive, and decisive, these wolves seek to improve constantly, and often see more difficult prey types as trophies or a sign of someone's skill if such prey is brought down.
In regards to specifically performing hunting duty -
VETERAN hunters are recommended to roleplay in: SECRETS OF KIYEVKA BAY, HUNTING GROUNDS OF SOPKA SESTRA
INTERMEDIATE hunters are recommended to roleplay in: ALLEY OF LARCHES, VODOPADNAYA'S PLACE OF MIRRORS
GREEN hunters are recommended to roleplay in: THE VALLEY OF PARTIZANSKAYA FORTUNE (REQUIRED: with company, even when one becomes a Veteran), MOUNTAIN GROUNDS OF PARTIZANSKAYA (moreso after one has visited Fortune once)

CARETAKER - CARETAKERS evoke a softer sense of the pack. Genuine and compassionate, these wolves care greatly for the future of the pack, and thus often spend time caring for any yearlings or younger wolves. Their care, however, is not limited to the youth; injured or wounded members may seek their attention, and these devoted caretakers often watch over them. [NO HERB/MEDICINE USAGE, PLEASE.]


CHOOSING A ROLE AND OTHER INFORMATION
You will be promoted from a Recruit to a Familiar when it is known that you are active and experienced enough in the roleplay to be promoted; this is when you will be allowed to choose a role as a Familiar. Please send your role preferences to the current Roleplay Elder (Loup). If the Roleplay Elder is away, please send it to the current Seeker (Chance).

* If you would like to change a role, notify one of the aforementioned members. You are only allowed to change roles every three months (in real time). If you change to another role, your role level will be GREEN. If you revert back to your old role within three months (in real time), you will retain your old level. If you revert back to your old role after (not within) three months, you will drop down a level (e.g. VETERAN to INTERMEDIATE, INTERMEDIATE to GREEN).
